Our collective efforts to accomplish the mission

A rigorous academic foundation designed to open doors to global opportunities.

Encouraging creativity and physical health through structured and unstructured play.

Nurturing the heart to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and understood.

Tailored educational tracks for children from early childhood through adolescence.

Khmer Children’s Education offers comprehensive programs for children starting as young as four years old and continuing through their teenage years. Our early childhood program focuses on basic socialization and foundational literacy, while our primary school track dives deeper into core academic subjects. For our older students, we offer preparatory courses for secondary school entrance exams and vocational guidance. This long-term commitment allows us to support a child’s development through every critical stage of their youth, ensuring a consistent and high-quality educational experience that adapts to their changing needs as they grow. We understand that the transition from childhood to adolescence is a pivotal time, and our programs are designed to provide the stability and mentorship needed to navigate these years successfully.

Empowering parents to be active partners in their child’s educational journey.

We believe that education does not stop at the school gates, which is why we place a high priority on family involvement. We host regular parent-teacher meetings, workshops on child nutrition, and literacy classes for adults. By involving parents in the learning process, we create a supportive home environment that reinforces what the children learn at our center. We also encourage parents to volunteer in our classrooms and participate in school events, fostering a strong sense of community and shared responsibility. This collaborative approach ensures that the entire family benefits from the resources and support we provide. We have seen that when parents are engaged in their child’s education, the student’s attendance and performance improve significantly, and the family as a whole becomes more resilient and optimistic about their future.

Real Stories of Transformation and Hope from Our Families

Sopheap Reth – Parent of a 6-year-old student I cannot express enough how much Khmer Children’s Education has changed our lives. Before my daughter started here, she was very shy and struggled with basic words. Now, she comes home every day excited to tell me what she learned in English and math. The teachers are so patient and kind, and I can tell they truly care about her future. It gives me so much peace of mind to know she is in a safe place where she is being given the tools to succeed. This school is a blessing to our entire village, and we are so grateful for the opportunity. The transformation in her confidence has been nothing short of a miracle for our family.

Channary Sok – Parent of an 11-year-old student My son has been attending this center for three years now, and the growth I have seen in him is incredible. Not only is he excelling in his studies, but he has also developed a strong sense of responsibility and leadership. He loves participating in the sports programs and the music classes. The school has also helped our family by providing workshops for parents on how we can better support our children’s learning at home. We feel like we are part of a big family here, and we are so proud of everything our son is achieving. Seeing him take pride in his culture while learning about the world is a dream come true.

Vannak Mean – Parent of an 8-year-old student The level of education provided at Khmer Children’s Education is far beyond anything we could have imagined. My child is learning things that I never had the chance to study, and it makes me so happy to see him so engaged. The focus on both academic skills and emotional well-being is very important to us. We have seen our son become more confident and more empathetic toward others. The school is more than just a place to learn; it is a community that supports us all. We are very thankful to the teachers and the donors who make this possible. Our son now talks about becoming a teacher himself one day.

Borey Chan – Parent of a 4-year-old student Even though my child is only in the early childhood program, I can already see the positive impact. She has learned how to socialize with other children and has developed a love for books and storytelling. The environment is so colorful and welcoming, and she wakes up every morning asking when it is time to go to school. As a parent, it is wonderful to see your child so happy to learn. The staff are always available to answer our questions and they make us feel like our child’s success is their top priority. We know that she is getting the best start possible for her future educational journey.
